This poem by Wendell Berry describes my orientation well:
“It may be that when we no longer know what to do, we have come to our real work,
and that when we no longer know which way to go we have come to our real journey.
The mind that is not baffled is not employed.
The impeded stream is the one that sings.”
I have deep respect for the amazing intelligence of our body, heart, mind, and spirit. When we listen, these parts of ourselves come together and new truths appear. As someone from two cultures and a supporter of the queer community, I also pay attention to how culture and society shape us.
I specialize in adults and elders with depression, anxiety, personal growth and self-esteem, religion and spirituality, and relationship issues. I can speak emotions and conversational Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese. I am offering telehealth therapy.
Let’s listen together as your new song begins.
